“Report a Tosser” is a NSW government-led anti-littering initiative that encourages public citizens to report people who are littering from their vehicles, especially throwing rubbish like drink cups, wrappers or cigarette butts out the window.

As the NSW Premier's priority was to reduce litter by 40% in the state, the EPA wanted more reports that resulted in convictions, and reduced cost-to-serve. As part of NSW government's shift toward customer-centricity, the interface required a redesign informed by user-research in parallel to a new solution architecture.
