The problem

The difference between winning and losing can come down to one second.

During live NFL games, referees rely on their own personal synced watches to manage the game and play clocks. Any battery or connectivity issue can impact the flow of the game.

No visibility into watch health

Connectivity issues during live play

Manual checks slow down officials and can stop the game.

Hawk-Eye needed a solution to monitor the health of the watches, and alert to any connectivity or lag issues that would impact the game’s events.

About

I am a product designer at heart with a love for research, digital and physical products. I have just returned to Sydney after living in London for 2.5 years, where I ticked off a huge bucket list item of working in sport.

When I’m not working I’m either baking, drawing, practicing yoga, or at the gym.

I seek creative fulfilment in everything I do.
